Victories over Aston Villa on Wednesday and West Ham United on Sunday, both at the Etihad Stadium, will see Manuel Pellegrini's side win the Premier League title.

At the moment, the Citizens have 80 points from 36 matches, a point behind leaders Liverpool, who have played a game more.

A win against the Villans at home on Wednesday will see the 2012 champions go top of the table and head into the final day of the campaign in pole position.

Just like in the 2011/12 season, this term the title race will go down to the wire, and Dzeko is relishing the challenge.

"We'll try to give everything and I think we've done an amazing job," the 28-year-old Bosnia striker told The Sun.

"After winning at Goodison on Saturday (3-2 against Everton), we go into the last two home games against Vila and West Ham, not at 100 per cent, at 200 per cent.

"Everything is on our hands, like two years ago. I remember when we won the league against QPR, everyone expected us to win easily. It took us until the last minute.

"I think we learned something from that. We know not to underestimate teams and try to do our best."

ood lord that's got me unnecessarily excited. Damn you Storey. Cut to Liverpool being crushed under the wheels of Sparky's Stoke Machine and Firmino brought off the bench to no effect. It's the hope that kills you.

think he'll do quite well. My only reservation would be Kagawa, who had similar stats to Firmino in the bundesliga before he came, but time will tell.
