Hoilett has endured a frustrating season due to injuries and suffered another hamstring problem towards the end of the 1-1 draw at Reading a fortnight ago.

But he told Rangers' official website: "I'm working hard to be fit and hopefully I will be ready for the weekend.

"I'm working with the medical staff and fingers crossed I will be okay for Saturday.

"I feel I started the season well but it has been a bit stop and start since then with injuries.

"That has been frustrating but the staff here have enabled me to come back and be stronger each time and hopefully I can get back to where I was."
