Doyle joined QPR on loan from Wolves in January and is hoping to help them clinch promotion, having already sealed a play-off berth ahead of the final game of the season.

When the season finishes he must first report back to Wolves, where he remains under contract for another year, to find out if he still figures in Kenny Jackett's plans.

Jackett has previously suggested that he expects all those players currently out on loan to leave permanently, and Doyle would be keen to stay at QPR.

"It would be very attractive to play for QPR in the Premier League - but there are lots of ifs, buts and maybes, and a lot of scenarios," Doyle said in the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle.

"QPR are waiting to see what division they are in with so many players out of contract.

"Come July it will be the usual merry-go-round. I have to go back to Wolves and see where I stand."
