Seven-year-old Harry Redknapp junior will play for the Cherries' Under-nines next season having impressed the club's staff with his progression since joining their academy's sessions in November.

And his grandfather just wants the youngster to enjoy his football.

The QPR boss said: "He's seven. He's just learned to tie his boots up! He loves his football and most important of all he's a nice kid.

"As long as he grows up to be a good person that's all that matters."

Alan Ball's grandson, goalkeeper Mack Allan, has also committed his future to the Cherries' Academy.
