Hutton's current deal at Ibrox is due to expire and he had attracted interest from rival Scottish clubs and from across the border in England.

However, the Rangers product looks set to agree fresh terms with Ally McCoist's side.

Hutton suffered a broken leg last year which hampered much of his season, but he returned to feature late on.

Now Sky Sports understands Hutton is set to agree a one-year deal with an option to extend.
