The 19-year-old goalkeeper is a graduate of the club's academy but has yet to make a senior appearance for the Royals.

He was one of a number of young players who have been offered fresh terms by the club, who were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Henly will act as cover for senior goalkeepers Adam Federici and Alex McCarthy at the Madejski Stadium next campaign.

Another senior 'keeper on the books, Mikkel Andersen, has been sent out on loan to Danish side Randers, while doubts remain over the future of the out-of-contract Stuart Taylor.
