The Royals beat Doncaster 3-1 on Saturday and now know a victory over promoted Burnley next weekend will seal their place in the top six and keep their promotion dream alive.

"It's well done to the players, now we have a week of preparation," said Adkins.

"Next week we need the Madejski Stadium bouncing, Burnley will give us nothing so we've all got to be at it. If we do that, it's in our hands.

"We've taken it to the final game of the season, as everyone knows when you're in the play-offs anything can happen. Now we've got to get there first."
