Wes Hoolahan will line up just behind Long and will be looking to impress boss Giovanni Trappatoni prior to next month's World Cup qualifiers at home to Sweden and away to Austria.

The Irish were last in action in a 2-0 friendly loss to Spain in New York and Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy are the only starters to keep their places.

Kieran Westwood takes over from the injured David Forde in goal while Robbie Brady gets an opportunity on the wing, and the midfield will comprise McCarthy, Glenn Whelan, who will win his 50th cap, and Jon Walters.

Coleman and Marc Wilson will be the full-backs, with John O'Shea and Ciaran Clark at the heart of the defence.

Rep of Ireland: Westwood, Coleman, Clark, O'Shea, Wilson, Walters, McCarthy, Whelan, Brady, Hoolahan, Long.

enteke is an absolute steal for £32.5m, he would get into any team in the world (except Barcelona) at the moment. I've seen many very good strikers in my 30+ years as a Villa fan. This guy is the best without question.
