Derek Adams: SPL Manager of the Month for February

The accolade is the second in a row for Adams, while the 37-year-old also claimed the award in August.

The Dingwall-based club began February with a 2-2 draw against Hearts before victories over Dundee, St Johnstone, Motherwell and Aberdeen took them up to third in the SPL table.

They have since slipped a place in the standings but remain in the hunt for a Europa League berth next season.

County chairman Roy MacGregor is hopeful that Adams will extend his stay in Dingwall.

"I'm delighted for him and it's his third manager of the month in his rookie season," said MacGregor. "He's an exceptional young manager.

"I'm 99% sure that he'll be here next season. He's got another year on his contract and has an extension on the table."
