But it is the first home match of the 2014/15 campaign that stands out, with Celtic and new manager Ronny Deila coming to McDiarmid Park four days later.

A home game with near rivals Dundee comes up on September 13 before Saints go in the opposite direction two weeks later when they take on Dundee United at Tannadice.

The return fixture with Dundee is scheduled for November 8, with Wright’s side hosting Dundee United on December 27.

The busy Christmas period then takes in a trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen on New Year’s Day, followed by a trip to Celtic Park on January 10.

Celtic then come back to McDiarmid Park on Valentine's Day with St Johnstone taking to the road again for a trip to Tannadice on February 21.

Games away to Ross County on April 8 and at home to Dundee three days later close out the regular campaign before the end-of-season split.
