Scotland U21 coach Billy Stark has named nine uncapped players in his squad for next month's friendly against Hungary.

The former Celtic and Aberdeen midfielder has named 12 teenagers, including two 17-year-olds, in his squad for the match at Dundee United's Tannadice Park on Wednesday, March 5.

And the youngest members of his 21-man party - Jordan McGhee of Hearts and Dundee United's John Souttar - will be hopeful of a starting berth alongside in-form midfielders John McGinn of St Mirren and fellow 19-year-old Sam Stanton of Hibernian.

Celtic supply four of the squad, Joe Chalmers, Stuart Findlay, Marcus Fraser and Callum McGregor, while Stuart Armstrong and Ryan Gauld, who was overlooked for the senior squad's friendly against Poland, have been named along with team-mate Souttar.

St Johnstone striker Stevie May, who has scored 16 times in the Premiership this season, will be hoping to add to his solitary goal in five previous outings for the Scotland U21s.

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff.
