The Scotland boss has come under increasing pressure following a disappointing start to their World Cup qualifying campaign.

The Scots sit rock bottom of their group having failed to win any of their opening four matches against Macedonia, Serbia, Belgium and Wales.

But Scotland legend Jordan is keen to see Levein remain in charge and be given the chance to revive the nation's hopes of reaching Brazil 2014.

"We're not at the beginning or the end of a campaign - we're more or less right in the middle of it," he said.

"It's a delicate time. That's something they have to think through because you're in the middle of a campaign

"I think he wants to prove he can succeed. I think it's going to be a difficult one.

"But looking at the league position you are looking for other countries to slip up before Scotland can progress and hopefully qualify."

FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
