Hampden: Set to stage Ayrshire derby semi-final

The Ayrshire derby semi-final will take place at Hampden.

The Scottish Football League tonight confirmed that both Scottish Communities League Cup semi-finals would be held at the national stadium.

Kilmarnock face Ayr on Saturday, January 28 with a 1pm kick-off and Celtic take on Falkirk at 3pm the following day. The Sunday fixture will be screened live by BBC Scotland.

Both Ayrshire teams had asked for the game to be played at Hampden, with Killie manager Kenny Shiels performing a U-turn after initially suggesting the game would be better played at Easter Road or Tynecastle.

t's a bit sad to see Bosingwa leaving after he finally seemed to show some defensive ability when moved to centre back against Barca, but at least we'll be forced to pick up some sort of right fullback as cover. His new haircut seemed to decrease the prominence of the monobrow too.

ou realise this means he'll have more free time to tweet, appear on newsnight, and google philosphers... ban seems about right, but there will never be consistency from the FA, so that completely undermines any possible lesson to the kids. Apart from the lesson about being part of an important cash cow.
