The Barnsley winger was a deadline-day capture for boss Pat Fenlon after securing the 24-year-old on a loan deal until the end of the summer.

He was given an early introduction to his new team-mates when he was thrown on for the final 20 minutes of the Leith side's Scottish Cup fifth round victory over Aberdeen at Easter Road on Sunday.

Done, however, was no stranger to the ground having been part of the Tykes squad which travelled north last summer for a pre-season warm-up only for it to be rained off.

The friendly fixture had to be switched to the club's Ormiston training base but the player insists his first impressions of both facilities were still favourable and helped make up his mind when Hibs came calling last week.

He said: "On the morning of the game, it was chucking it down. We were all going: This has got a chance of being called off - a pre-season game. I'd never known that before.

"It was a lovely ground but the game was called off. Then we were told it was going to be played at the training ground. We didn't know what to expect.

"But it turned out to be brilliant and it was a factor in me signing. I didn't know much about the club but I'd seen the training ground and the ground and they are Championship or Premier League-quality.

"It was an easy decision."

And Done was also well warned about the noisy home support which cheered Hibs onto a 1-0 win on his debut.

He said: "I spoke to a few lads who have been up here when I found out about the offer. Jim O'Brien was at Barnsley with me and told me the atmosphere was brilliant up here.

"On Saturday the atmosphere was unbelievable at the ground. It was a great game and to win on my debut made it a special day."
