Ivan Sproule's goal separated the sides and stretched County's unbeaten run to seven games, moving them up to eighth in the Scottish Premier League, just three points off third-placed Inverness.

"I'm delighted with the progress we're making," Adams said. "We've had a very good season so far, closed the gap between ourselves and the teams in the top half of the table, and we've moved ourselves 21 points ahead of Dundee.

"We're three points off Inverness, who have had a terrific season and we have had nearly the same number of clean sheets as Celtic. We're up there.

"You always start from the back. George Graham will tell you that from his time at Arsenal in the 1980s and 1990s.

"Listen, we've come from the Second Division to the Premier League and these things don't happen overnight. We've been working for five years.

"We've had five years of continuity and a team we've had to build year on year.

"This is not a new thing it's a thing that has been moving along. Nobody should be surprised."

was there, it was embarrassing - the team looked totally unbalanced from the off, the defence was woeful and when Mikel came off injured it got even worse with nobody in front of them. Up front on several occasions we had opportunities and nobody would shoot - it was a complete farse! On the back of Salah's performance I'm glad there is talk of getting shot...

reat to see Tommy Rosicky getting some love. A wonderful player. Such a pity we lost so long to injury. I was so excited when we signed him, this resurgence only makes the absences seem more of a lost opportunity.
