Keith Lasley: Not worried about Celtic

The Steelmen have suffered defeat to Dundee United and Ross County in their last two games and have slipped to third in the table.

In contrast, Celtic have impressed with 12 goals in their last three outings ahead of the visit to Fir Park.

Lasley said: "Over a season, more often than not, the best and biggest squad is going to prevail.

"But, certainly on a one-off basis and with us being at home, it's all about us performing at our best.

"There is no fear factor going into the game. It's just a real hunger to try to bounce back from Saturday."

Motherwell slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Ross County at the weekend as a result of a poor performance, which was criticised by boss Stuart McCall.

Lasley added: "It was one of our worst - certainly this season anyway. And it wasn't a good time for it to happen.

"At this period of the season, we are looking to kick on if we can. We have vital games coming up and we are really looking forward to the split.

"Every game is going to be big and to put in that sort of performance at this stage was disappointing. It's something we are certainly looking to bounce back from quickly."
