As a Celtic fan, I was supporting St Mirren in the final, mainly due to the amount of ex Celtic youth players in their side , Jim Goodwin being a case in point. The fact that they won what turned out to be a thrilling cup final full of "end to end" football made it all the more sweet. The game was a great advert for our much maligned game and hopefully will shut the naysayers and Sevco FC loving mefia type desperadoes up for a while.
