The St Johnstone defender was caught on camera elbowing the Celtic defender during the game at Celtic Park on Saturday 11 May.

The incident, which was missed by referee Alan Muir, was spotted by the SFA compliance officer, who offered Wright a two-game suspension.

The player elected to have a personal hearing, where the two-game ban was upheld.

Wright will now miss St Johnstone's final game of the season against Motherwell - where victory could hand them a ticket to the Europa League qualifiers - and the opening league fixture of next season.

think he'll do quite well. My only reservation would be Kagawa, who had similar stats to Firmino in the bundesliga before he came, but time will tell.
