The 20-year-old has been included in the latest Socceroos squad to take in a friendly date with Costa Rica.

He has, however, been given the benefit of the doubt after struggling for game time at club level.

Rogic has taken in just five appearances for Celtic since completing a January switch to Scotland - with his last outing this season coming back in September.

A lack of action could prove costly, with Postecoglou only willing to consider those who are playing regularly when he names his travelling part for Brazil 2014.

He said in the Daily Record: "If his back half of the season is like his first half, then he's going to find it very hard to make the squad.

"He needs to be playing club football to be part of the World Cup squad."

ah, Fergie is just having another pop at Rooney. He just wants to put him down whenever he gets a chance. Rooney is by far the best English player. Carrick is not far behind, mind. However, by elevating Carrick like that, Sir is having a dig at Wayne. Fergie is well-known for mind games like that. Good to see he's still feisty.
