Juventus were held to a 0-0 draw by Siena

Serie A leaders Juventus were frustrated in front of their own fans at the Juventus Stadium by a Siena side who were good value for a 0-0 draw in Piedmont.

Juve did all of the attacking in a one-sided game, but they failed to create any major chances as the Tuscans defended resolutely.

And Siena almost stole a win late on when Alessandro Gazzi missed their best chance of the game, but Giuseppe Sannino's side arrived with a gameplan which they enforced perfectly to earn the point which keeps them three points above the relegation zone.

Despite being held at home, Juve remain at the top of the table with rivals AC Milan also held 0-0 at home, by Napoli.

Robinho missed the best chances of the game for Milan, who ended with 10 men after Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sent off midway through the second half.

Napoli failed to make the most of their one-man advantage for the final 25 minutes and were left still waiting for their first win in five games.

Elsewhere, Fabio Borini scored twice as Roma secured an emphatic 4-0 victory over Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.

Juan opened the scoring in the 13th minute and Borini doubled the hosts' lead before half-time.

Borini added a third shortly after the restart and substitute Bojan Krkic capped a great afternoon for Luis Enrique's side by notching their fourth a minute from time to ensure a miserable return to the capital for Inter's former Roma coach Claudio Ranieri.

The result marked Roma's first win in three games and lifted the Giallorossi to sixth place in the standings - two points behind fifth-placed Inter - and extended the Nerazzurri's winless run to three games.

Fiorentina won back-to-back league games for the first time this season as they prevented Udinese from closing the gap at the top of the table with a 3-2 victory.

A Stevan Jovetic penalty double proved decisive. He first cancelled out Antonio Di Natale's 14th-minute opener just before the break before scoring again from the spot late on after Mattia Cassani fired the hosts ahead on 56 minutes.

Gabriel Torje netted a late consolation for Udinese, who remain third but four points adrift of Juve at the top.

Genoa risked throwing away a three-goal lead before seeing off Lazio 3-2 on a frozen pitch at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Rodrigo Palacio and two goals from Bosko Jankovic put the home side on the way to victory but a penalty from Cristian Ledesma gave the visitors hope.

Lazio lost Mobido Diakite to a red card in the 82nd minute but found another consolation from Alvaro Gonzalez in the last minute.

Palermo continued their fine fun of Serie A form with a narrow 2-1 victory over 10-man Atalanta at La Favorita.

The visitors' afternoon got off to a bad start when they had goalkeeper Andrea Consigli sent off in the 27th minute for a foul on Fabrizio Miccoli, who picked himself up to convert the resulting penalty.

Igor Budan doubled the hosts' advantage four minutes into the second half and, although Maximiliano Moralez pulled a goal back seven minutes later, the Sicilian outfit held on to make it 10 points from the last 12 on offer.

Luciano's own goal handed Parma a 2-1 victory in their mid-table clash at Chievo.

Luciano diverted Sebastian Giovinco's shot past goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino to settle the match.

Giovinco had put the visitors in front a minute after half-time, but Cyril Thereau levelled four minutes later.

Novara still haven't won in 2012 after being held to a goalless draw by Cagliari.

The hosts enjoyed several chances to claim their first triumph since November 26 but could not get past Cagliari goalkeeper Michael Agazzi.

The result at the Silvio Piola stadium has left Novara at the foot of the standings, seven points behind safety, while the Sardinians are 11th.

Strugglers Lecce and Bologna drew a blank at the Via del Mare stadium.

Both teams have shown improved form recently, with Lecce beaten just once in five games and Bologna now five without defeat.

However, both had to settle for a point from a game which saw the home side's Morris Carrozzieri dismissed 16 minutes from time.

t's a bit sad to see Bosingwa leaving after he finally seemed to show some defensive ability when moved to centre back against Barca, but at least we'll be forced to pick up some sort of right fullback as cover. His new haircut seemed to decrease the prominence of the monobrow too.
