Ruben Olivera: Three-match ban

Fiorentina midfielder Ruben Olivera has been banned for three matches by the Italian football league for violent conduct.

Olivera was sent off in Tuesday's 2-0 Serie A defeat at Bologna after he appeared to catch Bologna's Alessandro Diamanti in the face with an elbow early in the second half.

The Uruguayan will miss Sunday's game at Lazio as well as the league clashes with Cesena and Parma.

Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi will also be without defenders Mattia Cassani and Alessandro Gamberini for this weekend's game in Rome, with both players also suspended.
