Miralem Pjanic: Set to stay at Roma

Miralem Pjanic's agent has stressed the midfielder will not be leaving Roma in January.

The Bosnian is attracting attention from across Europe, but has been strongly linked with a move to England.

The 22-year-old has not been a regular for Roma this season under Zdenek Zeman, but despite this he seems set to stay.

"He is not leaving in January. He is married to the Roma cause and he wants to do well here. Obviously he wants to play a bit more, but he is convinced of his abilities and I'm liking his determination," Michele Gerbino told TMW.

"Roma have a different idea of how to play football this season and he needs to adapt. He's working hard.

"In the summer there were a number of offers on the table, but Roma were very clear that the player wouldn't be leaving the Olimpico.

"We have an excellent relationship with director general Franco Baldini. At the end of the season we'll review everything."
