Pescara midfielder Juan Quintero is to be discharged from hospital after collapsing during training on Tuesday

The Colombia international fainted at the Serie A club's Vestina di Montesilvano training complex and was quickly taken to a local hospital in an ambulance.

But club doctor Ernesto Sabatini moved to allay fears after visiting the 19-year-old.

"It was probably a food allergy," Sabatini told La Repubblica. "The player will be discharged after being administered an IV drip and being checked over again."

Quintero is set to spend the next few days recovering and is therefore unlikely to feature against Juventus on Saturday night.
