Antonio Conte: Signed Ecuadorian midfielder Jose Francisco Cevallos

Juventus have signed Ecuadorian midfielder Jose Francisco Cevallos on loan from LDU Quito, the Serie A club have confirmed.

The 18-year-old has joined the Italian champions until the end of the season with a view to making the move permanent in the summer.

Cevallos shares his full name with his 41-year-old father, who holds the record for most appearances as a goalkeeper with the Ecuador national team, having been capped 89 times.

The younger Cevallos, a skilful playmaker, recently broke into Ecuador's Under-20 side thanks to his impressive performances with Quito.
