Santos vice-president Odilio Rodrigues has confirmed that they will contact Robinho in the summer about the possibility of a move from AC Milan.

Robinho started his career with Santos and was linked with a return to the Brazilian club in the January transfer window, but nothing materialised as reports suggested they were unable to agree a fee with Milan.

However, the 29-year-old remains in Santos' thoughts and Rodrigues is planning to step up his pursuit at the earliest possible opportunity.

"Regarding Robinho, we'll talk again in the next transfer window," he told Lancenet.

"We'll contact him as soon as the window opens again."

Rodrigues added that he hoped to significantly strengthen Santos' squad in the next transfer window.

He said: "We are looking for several players but we haven't started negotiations with any yet."

haos reached its ultimate reckoning last weekend with Tony Hibbert looking assured at left back and Osman looking like a cultured ball playing midfielder before busting a gut to get to the back post for a Samuel Eto'o ball. Different chaos but chaos. If Kone scores the winner tonight I fear the world will end.
