Lazio president Claudio Lotito has rejected reports linking Ligue 1 champions Paris St Germain with a move for Brazilian midfielder Hernanes.

The 28-year-old has been the driving force behind the Serie A club's creative play since arriving from San Paolo in 2010 and helped the Biancocelesti to a Coppa Italia final victory over Roma in May.

Reports in Italy have suggested big-spending PSG have approached Lazio for the playmaker but Lotito rejected the idea today, telling the Corriere dello Sport: "It is a totally false story."
