A confident Real Madrid side claimed a sixth win of pre-season but Inter Milan's tour of the United States ended with another lacklustre display.

When the dust settled on eight frantic opening minutes in St Louis, Madrid were a goal to the good. Kaka had snuck between Inter's defenders to shoot against the flicked glove of Samir Handanovic before putting his head through the rebound to make sure.

Cristiano Ronaldo then saw a close-range effort repelled by Alvaro Pereira and, at the other end, Alvaro Morata blasted over the crossbar when put through by Casemiro.

Ronaldo missed the mark with a bullet header from a corner but in the 38th minute his angled drive would convert a cute through-ball from Luka Modric to give Real a 2-0 lead going into the break.

Inter's woes continued into the second half as Ricky Alvarez put through his own net from a corner on 67 minutes.

Mauro Icardi - a summer signing from Sampdoria - thought he had found a consolation for the Nerazzurri late on but his header was cleared off the line.

ow is the time for Allardyce to finally get a chance at a big club please. He is likely to have a number of great offers for his services this summer, but who will he choose? Will it be Liverpool, Real Madrid, Dortmund or Man City?
