Elche have signed Juventus striker Richmond Boakye on a season-long loan deal, the Primera Division club have announced.

The Ghana international, 20, joined the Bianconeri from Genoa last July but spent the 2012-13 campaign on loan with Sassuolo, contributing 11 goals as the Neroverde were crowned Serie B champions.

A statement published on Elche's official website confirmed the arrival of the seven-time Ghana international, who featured at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey this summer, as the Baix Vinalopo outfit continue to bolster their ranks following promotion to La Liga.
