Petkovic's job is reportedly under threat after Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Genoa marked Lazio's fourth loss of the campaign and their first at home.

The Romans have endured a difficult campaign so far and have won just one of their last six league games.

"Petkovic stays put," Lotito said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "The team is behind the coach and to think of an immediate change is the wrong approach.

"This team has the potential to recover the ground we have lost.

"I see what happens inside the club and I don't listen to outside pressures."

Lazio, who are also competing in the Europa League, are seventh in Serie A and visit Parma on Sunday looking for their first win on the road this season.

ever ceases to amaze me when ex players come out with comments like that. Clearly they have zero interest in the best interests of a club that provided them with a living to be making such idiotic and boorish comments as that. Shame on you Jimmy Case.

ait, so now he can get injured when he's not on international duty? It's almost as if his previous injury could've happened at any time and being with the England squad had nothing to do with it.
