The 20-year-old Argentinian is set to miss four Serie A games, but should return in time for the December 15 clash at Napoli.

A statement from Inter read: "Icardi underwent successful keyhole surgery on a sports hernia on Monday afternoon."

Icardi has scored two goals in six league appearances this term for the Nerazzurri, who are fourth in the standings and host Livorno on Saturday.
