A look ahead to the weekend's action in the Italian Serie A.

Napoli coach Rafael Benitez has told fans to expect a thrilling encounter when his team take on Juventus in Turin on Sunday night.

Both teams go into the encounter level on 28 points and three points adrift of Serie A leaders Roma.

Napoli are second in the standings ahead of Juve on goal difference.

"I think it's going to be a fantastic game between two teams that are doing very well," Benitez said.

"Juventus are the defending champions and I believe they will have a slight advantage as they have one more day to prepare for the game than we do."

Both teams go into the match on the back of three successive league wins and following positive results in the Champions League in midweek.

Napoli won 3-2 over Marseille on Wednesday while Juventus held Real Madrid to a 2-2 draw at home 24 hours earlier.

Roma, who are not playing in Europe this season, are the only unbeaten team in Serie A.

Rudi Garcia's men host Sassuolo on Sunday on the back of a 1-1 draw against Torino that ended their impressive 10-match winning run.

Roma are still without injured strikers Gervinho and Francesco Totti.

Inter Milan are fourth and host Livorno on Saturday eager to pick up where they left off in last weekend's 3-0 triumph at Udinese.

That result was the Nerazzurri's first win in five league games.

Hellas Verona are level on 22 points with Inter and take on Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris stadium with both teams looking to make it three wins in a row.

A defeat at bottom-side Chievo on Sunday could prove costly for AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri.

The Rossoneri go into the game in Verona on the back of Wednesday's 3-1 defeat at Barcelona in the Champions League and having endured their worst start to the Serie A campaign in 31 years.

Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic is also facing the heat with his team having won just one of their last six league games.

The Biancoceleste lie seventh and travel to Parma looking for their first win on the road this season.

Atalanta will be without top scorer German Denis for Sunday's home fixture against Bologna.

Denis, who has scored five goals this season, serves the first of a two-match ban on Sunday.

Torino are desperate to end their seven-match winless run when they travel to Sardinia to take on Cagliari on Sunday.

The Granata have not won since a 2-1 triumph at Bologna on September 22.

Udinese take on Catania in Sicily without the influence of captain Antonio Di Natale.

Di Natale sustained a muscular injury in last weekend's defeat to Inter and could be sidelined for up to a month.

Anything but a win at Fiorentina could see Sampdoria drop into the relegation zone.

The Genoa outfit hold the last position of safety but are level on nine points with Sassuolo, who sit 18th.

still can't see the Phil Jones thing that some people go on about. Whenever I watch him play it's a repeat of headless chicken meets a gurning Bambi on ice for 90 minutes.

P

robably the first list I've come across in a long time where I agree with a large majority of what was written. Can't agree with everything though, Zaba has had an awful season by his standards, I'd put Monreal (a player who I've never rated) up there, gotta give credit where it's due, he's really stepped up his game.
