Diego Milito wants to sign a new contract with the Italian club but has not ruled out the possibility of returning to Argentina with Racing.

The Argentine's current deal with the Nerazzurri runs out in June and negotiations over an extension have yet to begin.

However the 34-year-old, who has been at Inter since 2009, claims that he has no problem in remaining at Inter beyond next summer.

"For me, there won't be any problem in putting a signature and remaining for another year," he told Sport Mediaset.

"I feel at home. But for the moment I don't think what will happen in June. I live in the moment and the only thing that interests me is to come back playing."

However, Milito has also told an Argentine radio station that he is open to the idea of returning to his former club Racing.

"No one from Racing has called me yet, but they are really an important team in my career," he said.

"My deal with Inter expires in June and my dream is to retire with this shirt. I don't exclude the possibility of coming back to Argentina. We will see in June."
