The last time both sides met earlier this month in Serie A Juve crushed Roma 3-0 in Turin to inflict the Giallorossi's first loss of the campaign.

However, Garcia has warned the league leaders to expect a bigger battle in the Eternal City.

"This game is for a place in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia," Garcia said at a press conference.

"It's a different game altogether with respect to our Serie A match in Turin, because in the league we still have many matches left to play, while tomorrow it's a do-or-die game.

"Only one team will progress and we will have to do all that we can to make sure that team is Roma."

The Giallorossi go into the encounter on the back of Saturday's 3-0 triumph over Livorno at the Stadio Olimpico.

Garcia believes the home crowd can again spur his side on to victory.

"It's going to be an incredible atmosphere," he said. "Our stadium will be packed and to play at home is a very important advantage for us.

"Just as we saw earlier this month at the Juventus stadium, it's much easier t play at home with the help of the public.

"We will be charged up and ready to give our fans a win."

Juve beat Sampdoria 4-2 at the weekend to go eight points clear of second-place Roma at the top of the standings.

Antonio Conte's men are riding a 12-match winning run in the league and have struck 34 goals, conceding just four in that impressive run.

And defender Leonardo Bonucci has warned Roma they have no intention to slow down.

He said: "The game against Roma is like a final. We will go there determined to win."

Veteran playmaker Andrea Pirlo will return to Juve's starting line-up against Roma, having been rested against Samp.

AC Milan go into Wednesday's quarter-final against Udinese at the San Siro bolstered by their 1-0 triumph over Hellas Verona on Sunday.

Mario Balotelli's late penalty handed Clarence Seedorf a perfect start to his coaching career.

Seedorf replaced Massimiliano Allegri, who was sacked last week with the club 30 points behind Juve in the league standings.

The Rossoneri will fancy their chances against an Udinese side that are showing no signs of recovery.

Udinese lost 3-2 at home to Lazio on Sunday to suffer their third straight loss and fall to 15th in the table.

In the other quarter-final this week, Fiorentina take on Tuscan neighbours Siena on Thursday on the back of a 3-0 triumph at Catania.

Alessandro Matri struck a brace on his Fiorentina debut to allow the Viola to reduce the gap to Napoli to three points.

The Italian striker, who joined Fiorentina on loan from AC Milan last week, will lead the Viola's attack against Siena, who make the short trip to Florence fully rested, with Serie B still on a winter break.

Siena, who are 14th in the second tier, have won just two games on the road this season.

Next week, Coppa holders Lazio travel to the San Paolo to face Napoli.

PSG were probably not interested and he is stuck with no cake and no vacation. @Jay_D> Surely you jest about FFP being real, right? All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
