Sunday's game at the Stadio Olimpico was stopped by officials after eight minutes because of a waterlogged pitch, with the score goalless.

The Lega Serie A announced in a statement on Tuesday that the Serie A encounter will take place on April 2 if Roma's city rivals Lazio do not need the stadium for a Europa League game that same day. Otherwise, the encounter will be played on April 9.

Roma are second in the standings, nine points adrift of league leaders Juventus but have a game in hand.
