Juventus' Antonio Conte has been named coach of the year in Italy for the second time in a row.

Conte, who led the Turin giants to their second straight Serie A title in 2012-13, beat Fiorentina's Vincenzo Montella to the accolade by three votes.

Juve sit top of the standings, 11 points clear of Roma with 12 games remaining.

Coaches in Serie A and Serie B vote on the award, which is known as the Panchina d'Oro or 'Golden Bench'.

Inter Milan's former Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri finished third.

Conte told juventus.com: "This award follows the one I received from the AIC (Italian Footballers' Association), which means that the whole football world appreciates our extraordinary work.

"It's a source of great satisfaction. I dedicate this award to my family, the staff, the players - without them I would not be here - and the club."

Eusebio Di Francesco was named Serie B's top coach after leading Sassuolo to an historic promotion last season.

Di Francesco was sacked by the Emilian club in January but, shortly after learning he had won the Panchina d'Argento, he was reappointed following Alberto Malesani's dismissal.

He told the Gazzetta dello Sport: "It was an exciting season and we out-performed some very important teams.

"It is an award I'll share with my staff and with the players, who were outstanding."

think that puts all doubts over Benteke's quality to bed. Can he do it after receiving the ball to feet, in the box, totally unmarked, on a warm, sunny afternoon in Swindon? Oh yes he can! This year is definitely Liverpool's year. YNWA.

ll very well selling all midfield and strikers but unless we bring anyone in that is better than what we had then it will be a terrible transfer window in my view. Sorted out the defense but our midfield and striker options look very light.

ove it when Jose accuses others of being defensive, cynical and playing to win. If I was Wenger, I'd get that quote laminated and framed - surely the biggest compliment he's ever received from Mourinho. You've got him riled Arsene - you're relevant again!
