The club posted a statement on their official website confirming the 45-year-old Serbian had committed himself to the club for another season.

The former defender was appointed in November after leaving his job in charge of Serbia.

He helped keep the Genoa club in the top flight after they had endured a difficult start to the season, guiding them to a 12th-placed finish.
