Octavio arrived on Friday morning to Florence and is set to undergo a medical in the next 24 hours before completing his loan switch from Botafogo.

"Octavio has arrived to Florence on Friday," Fiorentina announced on their website.

The 20-year-old began the 2013-14 season at Botafogo but struggled to break into the first team did and was sent on loan to Brazilian side ABC earlier this year.

The 20-year-old is under contract with Botafogo until December 2015.

Fiorentina, coached by Vincenzo Montella, finished fourth in Serie A and will compete in the Europa League in the 2014-15 campaign.
