Reda Johnson: Looking to return

Reda Johnson: Looking to return

The 24-year-old, who has made only five appearances for Wednesday this season, playing his last game in the home defeat to Huddersfield in mid-September, came through a 64-minute run-out with the development squad against Derby this week unscathed.

The Benin international could not have timed his return to fitness any better with on-loan defender Jeremy Helan scheduled to return to parent club Manchester City after this weekend's home game against Charlton.

The Owls play four games over an 11-day Christmas fixture list

- and Johnson is aiming to return to the squad in time to feature.

Wednesday have won only three of the 17 league and cup games they have played during Johnson's absence.
