The 30-year-old forward claims a deal has been agreed and he is waiting for the loose ends of a transfer to be tied up.

Krstanovic has never been prolific throughout his career, but would offer something different to Wednesday's attacking line.

Standing six feet five inches tall, he would pose a considerable aerial threat to Championship defences.

He is confident a deal will be wrapped up in the next few days and is excited by the prospect of testing himself in English football.

Krstanovic told Sportske Novosti: "I'm all agreed with the English club, now I'm just waiting on a work permit.

"Will I get one? I don't really know, but in a few days I will get a final answer.

"Of course I hope that I will move to Sheffield Wednesday, that would be a dream come true for me."
