Dave Jones's side then entertain Burnley at home before travelling to West Yorkshire for a derby at Elland Road against Leeds United.

In September, Wednesday have back-to-back home games against Yeovil and Owen Coyle's Wigan Athletic before travelling to St Andrew's to play Birmingham City.

On Boxing Day, Wednesday will play Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park and on New Year's Day face Blackpool at Hillsborough.

Jones's final two games of the season are at home to Bolton Wanderers and away at Ipswich Town.
