Adam Lallana settled a match of little quality against West Brom when he buried Gaston Ramirez's superb flick beyond Ben Foster midway through the second half to secure a 1-0 success.
"It was a great performance by Boruc and it was a massive save at the end that really saved us," the Argentine told Sky Sports through his translator.
"We know of his quality and we know how amazing he is.
"I think overall we were much better than West Bromwich today. I think we were the better team and the statistics proved that.
"Overall it was a good performance by our side.
"We have won against Cardiff (in the league) and Burnley (in the FA Cup) so it hasn't been that long since we haven't recorded a win. It hasn't been that bad a run of results for us."
