Lennon: Warned against complacency

The Hoops can move four points clear of Rangers at the summit tomorrow night if they defeat Hearts in their game in hand.

Rangers' only hope of silverware this season is the SPL championship.

But, despite troubled times at Ibrox, Lennon is not expecting an easy ride between now and the end of the season and does not want that to be the general view of their own campaign.

He said: "You worry about that and you have to temper it very quickly.

"It's all right outsiders coming up and patting them on the back and saying that it's all done and dusted.

"Well it's not and it's certainly not the attitude we are adopting here.

"Rangers are the champions and they are the champions for a reason.

"We have to take on all the challenges that come our way and overcome them as best we can.

"There will be no room for complacency here and anyone showing that will be not playing."

Meanwhile, Scott Brown has been named Scottish Premier League player of the month for January.

The Hoops skipper said: "It's great to get but I think it's the team performance that merits me getting the award."

t's a bit sad to see Bosingwa leaving after he finally seemed to show some defensive ability when moved to centre back against Barca, but at least we'll be forced to pick up some sort of right fullback as cover. His new haircut seemed to decrease the prominence of the monobrow too.
