St Johnstone hope to sign former Aberdeen and Hibernian full-back Michael Hart after loaning Carl Finnigan to Dundee.

Hart, 32, is a free agent after leaving Easter Road before the end of the January transfer window.

Finnigan has joined Dundee for the rest of the season after making only four starts since moving to McDiarmid Park from Falkirk last summer.
