The 17-year-old will first undergo a one-week trial at Stoke before training with the Championship club in order to earn a contract.

The 6ft 3in striker is said to be a very promising young player and is determined to impress during his trials in England.

"It is right, first a week with Stoke and then with Huddersfield," Jonsson told Fotbolldirekt.se.

"It will be fun to compare how professional they are compared to Werder Bremen and GAIS."
