Cartwright joins Stoke staff

Stoke have appointed Mark Cartwright as their new Technical Director.

Last Updated: 10/12/12 at 18:22 Post Comment

Cartwright will be tasked with heading up the scouting and player recruitment department and will work closely with Potters boss Tony Pulis and Chief Executive Tony Scholes.

He has worked as a football agent for the past ten years but has now made the switch to the Britannia Stadium.

"I'm delighted to welcome Mark to the club and I look forward to working with him in the critically important area of player recruitment," Pulis told the club's official statement.

"In an increasingly complex market, it's important that we are as organised, thorough and skilled in this area as possible."
