Faouzi Ghoulam: Expecting to have a number of options to consider in January

The 21-year-old is contracted to his current employers until 2016, but has hinted that he could be freed from that agreement in January.

Serie A outfit Udinese are the latest side to be linked with an approach for Ghoulam, but they are not the only club in the running for his signature.

A switch to the Premier League could be on the cards, with a player who has caught the eye in France over the last couple of season suggesting that he will have plenty of options to consider in the New Year.

"I have a contract until 2016 so it will not only depend on me," said Ghoulam.

"I have been told that there is interest from some clubs in the Premier League and some in Italy."

The English interest in Ghoulam, who is expected to play for Algeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, is reported to come from Stoke and Fulham.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
