Following on from their first-ever top-half finish in the Premier League, Mark Hughes' men open their 2014/15 campaign by hosting Paul Lambert's side on August 16.

The Potters' first away game of the season comes a week later, as they travel to Hull City on August 23. A trip to Premier League champions Manchester City awaits, rounding off the first month.

December provides another tricky month, opening with an away game against Manchester United on the 2nd, while the Emirates Stadium and Arsenal await on the 6th.

A week later heralds a clash with former manager Tony Pulis' Crystal Palace, with Chelsea travelling to the Britannia Stadium on the 20th.

Stoke have been handed an away game with Everton on Boxing Day, while they host Manchester United on New Year's Day. Sandwiched in between is a clash with West Brom on the 28th.

The season will come to a close with a mixed May, with trips to Swansea (May 2) and newly-promoted Burnley (May 16), coupled with difficult home games against Tottenham (May 9) and Liverpool (May 24).

Opening three games:

August 16 - Aston Villa (h)
August 23 - Hull City (a)
August 30 - Manchester City (a)
