Juventus midfielder Mauro Camoranesi will not be moving to Lyon in exchange for Fabio Grosso, according to his agent Sergio Fortunato.
The Italian giants are desperate to land a left-back this summer with Paulo De Ceglie and Cristian Molinaro ruled out for the start of the season.
The Bianconeri have been linked with a move for Liverpool's Andrea Dossena in recent weeks but it now seems they have decided to plump for World Cup winner Grosso.
However Juve are reportedly struggling to fund the deal and with Christian Poulsen and David Trezeguet already rejecting swap deals to Ligue 1 Camoranesi is the next player reportedly being lined up for an exchange.
The Italy international was subject to a bid from Lyon in 2006 when Juve were demoted to Serie B and despite expressing an interest to move to France then Fortunato has rejected the opportunity this time around.
"I also knew about this hypothetical exchange even in Buenos Aires, but we are joking aren't we? He said.
"Mauro is worth a lot more and if Juve want to be great again they need him. He has two years left on his contract and three children.
"By now his life is organised in Turin. He has also bought a new house."
