Sweden captain Fredrik Ljungberg has declared himself fit for the Euro 2008 finals.
The midfielder is still plagued by the rib injury he picked up playing for West Ham in the 2-2 draw with Newcastle on April 26, when Steven Taylor inadvertently trod on him.
The injury caused him to miss the Hammers' last two league games of the season against Manchester United and Aston Villa.
But Ljungberg is confident he can play in the Euro finals with protection.
He told Expressen: "I might get a special protection for the rib and that is good. It will protect me in case I get an elbow on the ribs."
The Swedes begin their Euro campaign against Greece on June 10, then play Spain four days later and Russia four days after that.
