Barcelona are being linked with a loan move for Chelsea's unwanted striker Andriy Shevchenko.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Barca are looking towards London for a replacement for outgoing striker Samuel Eto'o and are likely to be priced out of the market for Emmanuel Adebayor.
Shevchenko is an alternative to suit all concerned - no transfer fee for Barcelona and Chelsea remove the Ukrainian's wages from their books.

"who was chelsea player with most goals to minutes ratio for premier league last season? Shevchenko. Chelsea would be retarded to let him go. he's pure quality."

"Im dont think he will go. i have a feeling scolari will have him on the bench for the first 5-6 games and then he will come on score a couple and then get in the 1st team. maybe im crazy to think that... but i reckon scolari will put his footdown and be strict with him. (all though he wont have many seasons left in him)"

"Good to let him try his luck elsewhere. his has failed to establish himself for two seasons, so what is the point in keeping him "
